![]() ![]() ![]() Know when to shoot and know when not to shoot. A jumping Genji is also an issue when he's making you twirl in your position, but it's difficult for him as well. Once Genji is in your sights for 2 seconds, he should be dead. Even if it doesn't hit you, he could be using his Deflect to kill someone else. It takes some timing, self-discipline, and control. Outplay: Surprise: don't shoot at Genji's Deflect. The real threat is when Genji catches the Bastion off guard and Bastion allows the Deflect to kill himself. At a distance, Genji's shurikens have a slight upper hand, but their range damage is mostly equal throughout. Bastion is literally immobile when he is in turret form, and Genji's mobility can make it difficult to hit him even at Bastion's perch. Bastion has the highest output of damage and Genji easily reflects that damage right back at him. What are your escape routes? Who in your team is willing to help you if you are in trouble? Where is the nearest health pack and can you get to it first?Ĭounter: Where there is a Bastion there is an enemy Genji. Force him into a 2v1 and always stick to someone. If you truly cannot trust yourself in a 1v1 with Genji, plan ahead. If you have no time to calculate all of this, the best move you can do is land your Biotic Grenade on both you and him and hope you get a few good shots. Use that moment of time to keep him asleep or kill him yourself. If a Genji jumps, and you know his cooldown on his dash, you know exactly where he's going to land. Outplay: Save your Sleep Dart for that crucial moment when Genji jumps and lands. Distancing yourself is also difficult because she is much slower than Genji. Don't fight the Genji up close, he beats her out in melee range. His hit box is very small and his mobility is the best in the game. You can do enough damage and have enough time to kill the Genji. As an Ana main, you could get really good at prediction and aiming your Sleep Dart. If she can't hit her dart before he gets to her, all she's got is hoping the Genji is bad enough not to kill her. Let's begin.Ĭounter: Ana's number one counter is Genji. Once you learn a few good tips to keep in mind, you'll be able to say you're unstoppable. Usually with an Orisa for her pull and shield. If you want to be a true main, you also have to be able to outplay your counters. Done by hiding in the building to the left of the attacker spawn (their left) and coming out only as the gate opens. Hit them before they even get on the payload. Or do what some OWL teams did and set up on the side and attack as soon as they leave spawn. Hopefully your team will respond and join you. Reaper: sneak in from behind and tear things up. Tracer: can be a bit hard but if she can build pulse fast enough she then needs to sneak it in. Pull: use Orisa and/or Hog to pull Rein or Bastion off the payload and open things up. If she gets her ult she can toss it right in the payload. ![]() Possibly counter Bastion.ĭive: gotta be somewhat coordinated but dive in and try to overwhelm them that way. Shield break: get chars to break their shields fast. Any tips to just immediately destroy this comp?ĭepends a bit on the enemy team and how they react or your team and how you work together. It’s seriously making me want to pull my hair out. ![]() We had a Junkrat along with the Pharah and it still didn’t work because the Rein would keep recharging his shield in between picks when only the Orisa shield was necessary and at least one of us was dead. Seriously can someone tell me how to counter this mega cheese-ball death comp? I went Pharah to try and take a longer range to attack their stationary position, didnt work because Rein and Orisa shield. Bastion straight up melts us for attempting to do so. They were so bunched up together and they had those little walls on the high ground to protect themselves while the shields were regenerating and WE COULDNT KILL ANYONE!!! We ended up constantly getting melted by the Bastion and it is so frustrating cause even when we did kill the Bastion, the Mercy just Rez’s him and when we would try to focus the Mercy, NOPE. The enemy team went Bastion, Rein, Orisa, Mercy, Moira, and Junkrat and I swear WE COULD NOT DO ANYTHING!!! I played a match on Junkertown where we had a whole 5 minutes to get the payload to a set destination in order to win. I seriously AM SO FRUSTRATED over this strategy. ![]()
